The men behind the scenes

Some PDI employees are not in the spotlight very often. But that certainly does not make them any less important. This time, these are the men we would like to highlight.

Arie: the truck driver

Arie is always on the road. In his beautiful, new PDI truck, he drives around the Westland, all over the Netherlands and even across Europe. Arie's day starts with loading the truck. All the materials needed to install a screen system are then unloaded at the right location. Arie is also responsible for transporting the construction platforms and tubular rail carts.

Tom: the maintenance technician and trucker

The next person we would like to introduce is Tom. He actually has a dual role at PDI. When things are very busy, he jumps in to help Arie. In hindsight, we are lucky we didn't sell our "old" truck when the new one was ready. In recent years, we wouldn't have managed to get all the materials to the building sites on time with just one truck. Hence Tom also climbs into his truck regularly. Tom also maintains all machines. Much of this work is carried out in the company's own PDI garage.

Nick: full-time in the garage

The last of the trio is Nick. He is always working in the garage. Our construction platforms need maintenance every now and then. Nick is responsible for this. The machines get a comprehensive check and any minor damages are repaired. Tubular rail carts also undergo this process. In a dynamic company like PDI, there is always something that needs to be adapted, changed or invented.

We all know the famous slogan: (and it's really true) without these guys, everything comes to a standstill!.

So at PDI, it's not just about cloth assembly or pulling wires. You can also find a place at PDI if you are interested in machine engineering.

Some PDI employees are not often in the spotlight. But that doesn't make them any less important. This time we would like to put these men forward.

Arie: the truckdriver

Arie is always on the road. In his beautiful, new PDI truck he drives through the Westland, the whole of the Netherlands and even across Europe. Arie's day starts with loading the truck. All materials required to assemble a screen installation are then unloaded at the correct location. Arie is also responsible for the transport of the construction platforms and the tube trolleys.

Tom: the service engineer / truck driver

The next we want to introduce is Tom. He actually has a duo job at PDI. When it is very busy he jumps in to help Arie. Fortunately, we didn't sell our old truck when the new one was ready. In recent years, it would not have been possible to get all the materials to the construction sites on time with only one truck. That is why Tom regularly climbs into his truck. The maintenance of all machines is also part of Tom's work. Many of these activities are carried out in our own PDI garage.

Nick: fulltime service engineer

Last but not least we have Nick. He is always working in the garage. Our building platforms require occasional maintenance. This is what Nick is responsible for. The machines receive an extensive check and any minor damage is repaired. Tube trolleys also undergo this process. In a dynamic company such as PDI there is always something that needs to be adapted, changed or invented.

We all know the famous slogan: (and it's true)  without these men everything comes to a hold!

So it's not just mounting cloth or pulling wires at PDI. You can also find a place at PDI if you are interested in machine technology.
